A Ukrainian immigrant farmer living in the Alberta prairies loses his wife in a tragic accident. Guilt and grief send him into a dark emotional spiral where mysterious and inexplicable events force him to relive a traumatic incident from his childhood in Ukraine.
They Who Surround Us was a finalist in the Duplass Brothers' 2018 Hometown Heroes Competition.
